In this email - I want to speak to the parents. If you are a parent reading this or an aspirant who has not yet been able to share your future plans with your parents, this email will provide you some clarity. What qualifies me to speak to you? As a new parent, for whom all the feelings you felt for your children are fresh - I can speak to you heart to heart as one parent to the other. If you haven’t had children yet, you will not be able to understand. You have no idea what it feels like to love someone more than yourself. To stare at a tiny, sleeping face and think, "I would give my life for you." To feel fear—not for yourself, but for them. And if you’re reading this as an aspirant, let me tell you something you DO NOT KNOW: You don’t know what your parents feel for you. You don’t know how many nights they’ve lost sleep over your future. You don’t know how many dreams they’ve given up—so you could chase yours. You don’t know how, even when they scold you, their heart is praying for you. Maybe you won’t understand it until the day you hold your own child. What does a parent want for you? They want security for you. A future without struggle. A life better than theirs. You just want to give them everything they want. And different people react differently to this strong overwhelming love they feel for their children - both coming from an absolute positive intent, but can have different impacts on the children: 1) Some cage their children - their idea of protecting their child becomes to only allow them to do things that they are familiar of. 2) Others let them open their wings and fly - they want to simply be their and support their children in any big dreams or ambitions they have. And I will be completely honest with you - even though my own father was always Category 2), I myself find leaning way too much towards Category 1) - but I am self aware to note that I am tending towards it and I am working hard to move towards Category 2) (Or probably I am simply overthinking and I will end up being in Category 2 indeed!) What I know is this: Every Indian parent wants their child to have the best education, a stable career, and a secure future. But in today’s world, good marks alone aren’t enough. The job market is overcrowded. Degrees that once guaranteed success are now just basic qualifications. So, how do you give your child an edge? How do you ensure they’re ahead in the race? How can they skip the entire grind that you and my parents did in India? How do they simply 'escape' the system? Be it the 'coaching culture' for IITs and NEETs in India or the fight for UPSC. Do you really want them to go through the same grind that you went through? No wonder so many parents these days are deciding that their children should go abroad. In my circle, a good 30% of my childhood friends have moved abroad. But again - not all countries are the same. What is a great option these days and an option most Indian parents completely overlook is: learning German. Not just for Germany, but for Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Scandinavia (Scandinavian languages have a lexical similarity of up to 60% with German!) Learning German simply opens so many doors - and it can be simply learnt from the comfort of your home! Not just as a subject in school, but as a strategic skill that can completely change their future. 🔥 Why Learning German is a GAME-CHANGER for Indian Kids🏛 1. Free World-Class Education in GermanyGermany is the ONLY major country where your child can get a completely free, world-class university education.
💼 2. The “Hidden Job Market” for German Speakers in IndiaMost Indian parents think only engineers and doctors have high-paying careers. But here’s something shocking:
This applies not just in engineering, but in fields like finance, marketing, IT, pharma, law, and tourism. 🌍 3. The Fastest Route to Settle in a Foreign CountryEvery year, millions of Indian families spend crores trying to send their children to the US, UK, or Canada. But the truth is:
Germany, on the other hand, actively wants skilled immigrants.
🧠 4. Learning a new language boosts Cognitive Development & Career ProspectsResearch shows that learning a second language:
This means your child not only gets academic benefits but also better career opportunities in the long run. 📌 How Can Your Child Start Learning German? Many Indian parents believe learning German is expensive or that it requires moving abroad. I opened my dashboard this morning for price adjustments and I couldn't believe my eyes. Did you see the INR / EUR exchange rate? The Indian rupee is becoming like the Pakistani Rupee - a complete banana currency. Things are getting expensive, currency is getting weaker, safety is non-existent and everything runs on connections or 'jugaad'. Is that really what you want to settle for? Was that what you dreamt of? Now I’ll tell you a story. It might even be yours. You were the smart one in your...
Bharat in Germany: For the Ones Who Want More Hey Reader, I don’t know where you’re at in life right now, but if you’re anything like I was at 24… maybe you’re feeling a little lost. Maybe you finished uni, or maybe you didn’t. You’re working a job that doesn’t excite you. Everyone keeps talking about “figuring it out,” but you’re still waiting for something, anything, to click. The days blur together, and part of you wonders: Is this it? It all started here when I made the decision. I’ve...
Every Friday night I try to read a little. So yesterday night, I read a story on my favourite science fiction forum and it was something so deep that I just couldn't stop thinking about. It's the story about the city of Omelas. A city bathed in light.Peaceful. Happy. Thriving.People smile. The streets hum with life. Music, laughter, celebration. From the outside, it’s paradise.A perfect world. But underneath this beautiful city,in a basement no one talks about, there is a child. The child is...
